Bytz VPN - Android Installation

If it is not yet installed, download the OpenVPN Connect app from Google Play on a standard Google Android, or download OpenVPN for Android (No Root) on F-Droid if on a de-Googled phone.

Before you proceed, make sure you have your BytzVPN username and password available. During purchase, it will be automatically created and you will see it in SETTINGS - MY ACCOUNT SETTINGS on Brax.Me (one of the checkmarked items on that page).

On Chrome, to begin installation, tap and hold down the links below (these links are Ovpn Profiles). A menu will appear. Select "download link". These files will be added to your download folder. You may be asked for permission to open your file system. Give that permission.

On DuckDuckGo Browser, to begin installation, just tap quickly on each link below (these links are Ovpn Profiles). A menu will appear or it will acknowledge a download. These files will be added to your download folder. You may be asked for permission to have access to your file system. Give that permission.

On s standard Google Android, if you're having a problem with saving a file and finding it, make sure to save files to the Phone and NOT to Google Drive.

VPN Profiles
VPN Profiles are your choices of VPN servers. Each one represents a server location or a pool of servers in a location. Each pool area represents a location where we have servers.

The NoAds profiles are ones that have DNS blocking of ad domains using a pi-hole server.

Usually, the closest server to you is the fastest and best choice for performance. But you can use any location that suits your purpose.
